Right of Withdrawal & Return Policy

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Return Costs

You shall send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Compensation for Loss in Value

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Contracts for the supply of goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs (e.g., personalized candles)
  • Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery

Right of Return for Damage or Defects

Should you receive damaged or defective goods, please contact us immediately. We will find a solution (exchange, repair, or refund).

Our Story

From a wedding, a passion was born

It all began with my own wedding. I wanted to design candles that
would not only light up the occasion but also make the celebration unforgettable
as guest favors and table decorations. This desire sparked a heartfelt vision.

After moving to Switzerland, I wanted to preserve the beauty of
flowers for longer. This led to the creation of elegant floral arrangements
that retain their freshness for weeks—as an addition to our candles.

I am Yvonne – founder, candle maker, and creative workshop leader from
Romanshorn. Today, Glowing Celebrations combines handmade candles,
long-lasting floral arrangements, and inspiring workshops – each piece
with its own story.

What makes Glowing Celebrations special?

Glowing Celebrations is a small candle manufacturer in Romanshorn on Lake
Constance. Founder Yvonne pours each candle individually by hand – no
mass production, but genuine Swiss craftsmanship. All candles are
deliberately unscented for a pure, clean ambiance.

Are the candles suitable for allergy sufferers?

Yes – all Glowing Celebrations candles are intentionally made fragrance-free. They are ideal for people with fragrance sensitivities, festive tables, and sensitive spaces.

Can I order candles online?

Yes – all candles are available in the online shop at glowingcelebrations.com.
Shipping within Switzerland. Payment via TWINT, credit card,
Apple Pay and Google Pay possible.

Where do the workshops take place?

The workshops take place in Romanshorn in the canton of Thurgau – directly on
Lake Constance. Bookings can be made online at
